Aromatology
The interest in the use of CTEO’s is rapidly increasing on a global scale and is now an established concept known as Aromatology, also called scientific aromatherapy, which is progressively being applied as “complementary care”.
OMC Healthy Environment SA only use CTEO’s, backed up with a full biochemical analysis (GCMS), to create a healthy environment in offices, hospitals and care centres as they enable us to improve the indoor climate and personal experience with safety and efficiency.
Essential oils are complex, fragrant, volatile liquids obtained through steam distillation from aromatic plant material. The CTEO standard is based on a rigid methodology incorporating the use of certified botanical plants, biodynamic growing and harvesting, prolonged distillation process and a full biochemical analysis (GCMS) of every distilled batch to ensure a pure, natural, unaltered essential oil.
CTEO’s cannot be compared with the essential oil applied in massages, hydrotherapy, cosmetics and perfumery. In 95% of the cases these essential oils are NOT up to the required standards allowed for use in complementary care as no manufacturing checks and controls are in place.
CTEO’s antibacterial, antiviral and numerous other properties are substantiated by scientific research published in reputable medical journals.
